Head of Global Operations

Position Overview
GUNINTECHSERVERS PVT LTD is seeking an experienced, high-impact Head of Global Operations to lead, scale, and optimize our worldwide server infrastructure and operational services.
Reporting directly to Executive Leadership, this key leader will be responsible for overseeing global data center operations, server management workflows, 24/7/365 technical support operations, cross-border infrastructure deployment, and operational efficiency. The Head of Global Operations will establish seamless operational frameworks, ensure high availability (SLA compliance), and align resource allocation with our ambitious global expansion plans.
Key Responsibilities
Global Operational Strategy: Develop and execute the company’s end-to-end global operational roadmap, aligned with corporate growth, service reliability, and financial metrics.
Data Center & Infrastructure Operations: Oversee global server deployment, hardware provisioning, data center vendor relationships, network operations, and capacity planning.
24/7 Service Delivery & SLA Management: Lead cross-border, multi-tier technical support and sysadmin operations to guarantee 24/7/365 infrastructure uptime, high incident-response efficiency, and customer SLA compliance.
Process Optimization & Scaling: Streamline cross-functional workflows across Server Administration, Network Engineering, Customer Support, Billing, and DevOps to eliminate bottlenecks and optimize operational margins.
Team Leadership & Global Talent Management: Build, mentor, and scale high-performing, multi-location operational and engineering teams across global time zones.
Vendor & Partner Management: Negotiate and manage relationships with Tier-1 data center providers, hardware vendors, ISPs, and global telecom partners to maximize cost efficiency and service quality.
Compliance & Security Governance: Enforce enterprise-grade security practices, disaster recovery (DR) protocols, and regulatory compliance standards (such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR) across all global server locations.
P&L & Budget Management: Manage operational budgets, capital expenditures (CapEx), and operational expenditures (OpEx) for hardware acquisitions, facility colocation, and global bandwidth.
Executive Reporting: Present key operational performance metrics, uptime reports, risk assessments, and infrastructure expansion updates to Executive Leadership.
Qualifications
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in IT infrastructure operations, data center management, hosting services, or global cloud operations.
5+ years in a senior management role (Head of Operations, Operations Director, or VP of Operations) supervising multi-regional teams.
Deep expertise in server administration (Linux/Windows), colocation services, network infrastructure, hardware lifecycle management, and cloud architecture.
Proven track record of managing round-the-clock (24/7/365) support operations and maintaining strict SLA guarantees for global clients.
Strong knowledge of data center economics, CapEx/OpEx optimization, vendor negotiation, and global supply chain logistics for server hardware.
Excellent understanding of enterprise IT compliance, cybersecurity governance, and business continuity/disaster recovery planning.
Exceptional leadership, crisis management, cross-cultural communication, and strategic planning skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related engineering fields (Master’s/MBA preferred).
