The Peer Workforce Coordinator supports USU Extension's peer support workforce development programs, which train Certified Peer Support Specialists (CPSS) and Family Peer Support Specialists (FPSS) and help them move into the behavioral health workforce through internships and apprenticeships. This position has two primary functions: (1) guiding peer support specialists trained by USU Extension through their internships and apprenticeships, including tracking hours, helping them obtain continuing education units (CEUs), and processing payments; and (2) organizing and coordinating peer support trainings and their logistics.
