Role Description The Delivery Driver role at Dewlix Creamy Delights is a full-time, on-site position based in Coimbatore. The Delivery Driver is responsible for safely transporting food and beverage orders from the store or production area to customers and partner locations, following assigned routes and schedules. Daily tasks include verifying orders, loading and unloading products, handling payments when required, and maintaining delivery documentation. The role also involves providing courteous customer service at each delivery, ensuring products are delivered in good condition, and reporting any issues or delays to the supervisor. The Delivery Driver is expected to keep the vehicle clean, follow traffic and safety regulations, and support basic store or warehouse tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to interact politely and professionally with customers and team members.
Basic Food & Beverage handling awareness, including maintaining hygiene standards and careful handling of perishable items.
Experience with Forklift Operation or safe material handling is an advantage for loading and unloading goods.
Sales and upselling skills are beneficial for promoting products or add-ons during deliveries.
Ability to follow Training instructions, adapt to procedures, and comply with company policies.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Good knowledge of Coimbatore routes and local areas.
Ability to lift and carry moderate weights, and stand or drive for extended periods.
Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail in completing deliveries and documentation.
