Video Editing Internship
Digital Seed is looking for a Video Editor Intern to join our creative team.
You’ll work on real client projects, primarily focused on short-form content, Instagram Reels and social media videos, with opportunities to work on longer-form YouTube content as well.
What You’ll Work On
Editing Instagram Reels and short-form videos
Creating engaging edits from raw client footage
Basic motion graphics, transitions and visual effects
Editing YouTube and longer-form content when required
Adapting edits to different brands, styles and audiences
Working closely with our design and creative team
Requirements
Good working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Davinci Resolve
Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling and visual composition
Ability to understand and recreate a reference editing style
Attention to detail and willingness to learn
Tamil proficiency is required
Previous experience is not mandatory; a strong portfolio or editing samples matter more
Internship Details
Position: Video Editor Intern
Duration: 3–6 months
Stipend: ₹5,000–₹6,000/month
This is a hands-on internship where you’ll work on actual client projects rather than practice assignments.
Based on performance and the quality of work, there is an opportunity to transition into a full-time Video Editor role, with compensation of ₹15,000–₹25,000/month.
Selection Process
Round 1 — Editing Assessment
Shortlisted candidates will receive raw footage from one of our client projects along with a reference video. You’ll be asked to create an edit that matches the reference style.
Round 2 — Interview
Final shortlisted candidates will have a direct interview with the Founder of Digital Seed.
