Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the company’s global financial strategy in alignment with corporate objectives and long-term growth plans.
Oversee global financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial performance reporting.
Lead financial operations across international markets, regional offices, and business units.
Establish financial policies, internal controls, reporting standards, and governance frameworks to ensure consistency and accuracy.
Monitor revenue, profitability, operating expenses, capital allocation, and financial performance across global operations.
Partner with the CEO, CFO, and executive leadership team to support strategic planning, investment decisions, and business expansion.
Oversee financial risk management, liquidity planning, treasury activities, and foreign exchange exposure.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax requirements, financial regulations, and internal policies across jurisdictions.
Direct financial reporting processes, including management reports, consolidated financial statements, and executive-level financial analysis.
Lead and develop global finance teams, regional finance leaders, and financial planning professionals.
Identify opportunities to optimize costs, improve financial efficiency, strengthen controls, and enhance profitability.
Oversee relationships with external auditors, financial institutions, tax advisors, and other financial service providers.
Support mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, capital planning, and financial due diligence when required.
Implement financial systems, reporting tools, and automation initiatives to improve data accuracy, transparency, and operational efficiency.
Present financial results, forecasts, risks, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders.
Professional Experience
12+ years of progressive experience in finance, financial management, accounting, or corporate financial planning.
7+ years of senior leadership experience overseeing finance functions across multiple departments, regions, or business units.
Proven experience developing global financial strategies, managing budgets, and driving financial performance.
Strong background in FP&A, financial reporting, cash flow management, internal controls, and financial risk management.
Demonstrated experience managing international finance teams and coordinating financial operations across multiple jurisdictions.
Extensive knowledge of financial reporting standards, corporate governance, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Experience with financial systems, ERP platforms, financial analytics, and process automation.
Strong strategic thinking, analytical, communication, and executive decision-making skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; an MBA, master’s degree, or professional accounting qualification is preferred.
