Role Description The Daycare Teacher will provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care and learning experiences for children in a daycare setting. Responsibilities include planning and implementing daily activities and basic curriculum, supervising play and rest periods, supporting early childhood development through interactive learning, and maintaining a clean, safe, and inclusive environment. The role involves regular communication with parents and guardians, monitoring children’s progress and well-being, and following all safety, hygiene, and regulatory guidelines. This is a full time intern, on-site role based in Bengaluru, requiring close collaboration with other staff members to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
Qualification
Knowledge of Early Childhood Development and ability to support age-appropriate physical, emotional, and cognitive growth.
Skills in basic Curriculum Development, including planning daily learning activities and routines for young children.
Strong Communication abilities for interacting with children, families, and colleagues in a clear, respectful, and supportive manner.
Relevant certification or diploma in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field is preferred.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to respond calmly and effectively in challenging situations.
Understanding of child safety, hygiene practices, and emergency procedures in a daycare environment.
Ability to work on-site full time in Bengaluru and collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary childcare team.
