Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP MM Consultant with 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Materials Management. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, material master data, and end-to-end supply chain processes. Experience in the pharmaceutical or medical devices industry is an added advantage but is not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
Configure, implement, and support SAP MM functionalities based on business requirements.
Manage procurement processes, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipts, and invoice verification.
Handle inventory management, stock transfers, material valuation, and physical inventory processes.
Maintain material master data and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Work closely with SAP SD, FI/CO, PP, and other functional teams to support cross-functional integration.
Analyze business requirements, identify process gaps, and recommend suitable SAP solutions.
Support system testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment activities.
Troubleshoot SAP MM issues and provide timely resolution for production support incidents.
Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, and user training materials as required.
Required Skills
8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP MM.
Strong understanding of procurement, purchasing, inventory management, and material master data.
Experience with SAP MM configuration and functional support.
Knowledge of SAP integration with FI/CO, SD, and PP modules.
Experience in requirement gathering, business process analysis, testing, and issue resolution.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the pharmaceutical or medical devices industry.
Exposure to regulated supply chain processes and quality-related procurement workflows.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA MM is an advantage.
Knowledge of SAP Fiori and related procurement applications is a plus.
