Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Civil Engineer. The Civil Engineer will contribute to the planning, design, and review of civil engineering projects, including infrastructure, utilities, and site development. Day-to-day tasks include preparing design calculations and drawings, coordinating with project managers and other engineers, reviewing technical specifications, and ensuring compliance with local codes and standards. The role involves analyzing stormwater systems, supporting permitting activities, preparing reports, and providing technical input during construction phases. The Civil Engineer will also assist with scheduling, risk assessments, and continuous improvement of project processes.
Qualifications
Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering skills, with the ability to apply engineering principles to infrastructure and site development projects.
Experience working as Civil Engineers on multidisciplinary project teams, contributing to technical decisions and project coordination.
Planning skills, including project planning, scheduling, and resource coordination for civil works.
Stormwater Management expertise, including hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, and design of drainage systems.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field; professional licensure or eligibility for licensure is an advantage.
Proficiency in relevant engineering and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical report-writing abilities.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
Experience with construction documents, specifications, and applicable codes and standards is preferred.
