Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhubaneswar within the Digital Animation department. The positions include: 2D Trainer with production experience (1 position), 2D Trainer with teaching experience (1 position), and 2D and 3D Trainer (2 positions). Trainers will conduct classroom and lab sessions, deliver structured lessons on 2D and/or 3D animation principles, software tools, and production workflows, and guide learners through practical projects and assignments. Daily responsibilities include preparing training materials, demonstrating techniques, supervising hands-on exercises, assessing learner performance, and providing constructive feedback. Trainers will collaborate with department colleagues to update curricula, maintain industry relevance, and support academic and production-related activities, while ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear presentation, learner engagement, and interpersonal abilities.
Candidates should possess Training and Teaching skills, with experience delivering structured lessons, mentoring learners, and assessing performance.
Candidates should possess Manufacturing or production-related experience in digital animation pipelines, including exposure to real-world projects or studios.
Candidates should possess proficiency in Microsoft Office for preparing training materials, reports, presentations, and documentation.
Proficiency in relevant 2D and 3D animation software (e.g., Adobe Animate, Toon Boom, Autodesk Maya, Blender, or similar) and understanding of animation principles.
Prior experience as a trainer, instructor, or production artist in digital animation or related fields; experience in curriculum development is an advantage.
Diploma or degree in Animation, Multimedia, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
Ability to work collaboratively in an academic environment, support institutional goals, and adapt to evolving industry standards and learner needs.
