Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sourcing and Procurement role based in the Pune Division. The role involves managing end-to-end procurement activities, including identifying suppliers, requesting and analyzing quotations, and negotiating contracts to ensure cost-effective, high-quality sourcing. The professional will monitor supplier performance, maintain accurate purchasing records, and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and optimize the supply base. Daily responsibilities include conducting market research, evaluating risks, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in purchasing processes. The role also requires regular coordination with finance, operations, and project teams to align procurement decisions with business objectives and timelines.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to conduct cost analyses, assess supplier performance, and support data-driven decision-making.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders, interact with suppliers, and present sourcing recommendations clearly.
Candidates should possess Contract Negotiation and Procurement skills to manage supplier selection, negotiate terms, and ensure value, quality, and compliance.
Candidates should possess Recruiting and vendor management skills to identify, onboard, and develop a reliable supplier network.
Relevant experience in sourcing and procurement, preferably within engineering, manufacturing, or technology-focused industries.
Knowledge of supply chain processes, purchasing tools, and ERP or procurement systems.
Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field; professional certifications in procurement or supply chain are an advantage.
