Role Description The General Manager Projects is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role oversees end-to-end project delivery, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders. Daily responsibilities include monitoring project progress, managing budgets and timelines, resolving operational issues, and ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The General Manager Projects will lead project teams, manage vendor and contractor relationships, supervise expediting and logistics activities, and prepare regular status reports for senior leadership and clients. The role also involves continuous process improvement, risk management, and supporting strategic decisions related to project portfolios.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Project Management skills, including planning, execution, monitoring, and risk management.
Candidates should possess Expeditor and Expediting skills to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services.
Candidates should possess Inspection skills to oversee quality checks, compliance with specifications, and adherence to standards.
Candidates should possess Logistics Management skills to coordinate transport, warehousing, and material flow for projects.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field; a master’s degree or PMP certification is an advantage.
Proven experience in managing large engineering or infrastructure projects, with responsibility for teams, budgets, and schedules.
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad, handle multiple projects, and make data-driven decisions under time constraints.
