Role Description The Production Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Rajkot. This position oversees daily production operations, including planning and scheduling, monitoring workflow on the shop floor, and ensuring that output meets quality, safety, and delivery standards. The Production Manager coordinates with procurement, maintenance, and quality teams to secure materials, minimize downtime, and resolve production issues. The role involves tracking performance metrics, optimizing processes, and implementing improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste. The Production Manager also leads and trains production staff, manages shift allocations, and maintains clear communication with leadership regarding progress, risks, and resource needs.
Qualifications
Experience in production or operations management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong skills in production planning, workflow coordination, and resource allocation.
Knowledge of quality control practices, safety standards, and compliance in a factory setting.
Ability to analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements.
Proven experience leading teams, resolving conflicts, and supporting staff development.
Comfort with using production management software, spreadsheets, and basic reporting tools.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or a related field is preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience in machinery manufacturing or a similar industry is an advantage.
