Role Description As a Back End Developer at Code201 Solutions, you will design, build, and maintain server-side applications and APIs that power our healthcare software products. You will work closely with front-end developers, product owners, and QA specialists to implement robust features, optimize performance, and ensure data integrity and security. Daily responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code, integrating with databases and external services, troubleshooting and debugging issues, and participating in code reviews and technical discussions. You will also help improve existing systems, contribute to architectural decisions, and follow best practices for testing and documentation. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Back-End Web Development and general Software Development, including building and maintaining server-side applications and APIs.
Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and core Programming concepts, with experience applying them to production systems.
Basic understanding of Front-End Development to collaborate effectively on end-to-end features and integrations.
Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases, including schema design, queries, and optimization.
Knowledge of secure coding practices, authentication/authorization, and handling sensitive data, preferably in healthcare or regulated environments.
Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git), automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
Ability to work on-site in Kochi, collaborate in cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly in English.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architectures is a plus.
