Role Description The CNC Laser Cutting Machine Service Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in North India. The role involves installing, commissioning, and servicing CNC laser cutting machines, including diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and software issues and performing preventive and corrective maintenance. The engineer will calibrate equipment, optimize machine performance, and ensure safe operation according to standards and customer requirements. Day-to-day tasks include responding to service requests, maintaining service records, coordinating with clients and internal teams, and providing basic operational training to machine operators. The role also includes recommending improvements, spare parts, and process adjustments to enhance machine uptime and productivity.
Qualifications
Technical proficiency in CNC programming and control systems; ability to interpret technical drawings and machine documentation.
Hands-on machining skills, including experience with CNC laser cutting, mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, and use of precision measuring tools.
Capability to teach and guide operators on safe machine use, basic maintenance, and proper workflow practices.
Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently at customer sites.
Good communication skills and customer-service orientation; willingness to travel locally or regionally for service calls.
Knowledge of industrial safety standards and basic electrical and pneumatic systems is an advantage.
