Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Mortgage Broker at Mortgage Gateway. The Mortgage Broker will guide clients through the end-to-end mortgage process, from initial consultation and needs analysis to application submission and deal finalization. Daily responsibilities include assessing client financial profiles, advising on suitable mortgage products, and managing applications across multiple participating lenders. The role involves comparing and presenting lender offers, negotiating terms where appropriate, and ensuring clients understand all conditions and costs. The Mortgage Broker will maintain accurate records, comply with regulatory requirements, and collaborate with internal teams to enhance customer experience and support business growth.
Qualifications
Strong mortgage advisory and brokerage skills, including experience as a Mortgage Broker and knowledge of mortgage products.
Finance-related expertise, with the ability to interpret financial statements, assess affordability, and provide guidance on Debt Consolidation.
Knowledge of Mortgage Marketing and Brokerage practices, including client acquisition and relationship management.
Solid understanding of lending processes, regulatory frameworks, and industry compliance standards.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and client service skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple client applications simultaneously in a remote environment.
Proficiency with digital tools and online application platforms; comfort working in a paperless, technology-driven setting.
Relevant qualification in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; professional certification in mortgage or financial services is an advantage.
