Role Description
This is a Freelance / Work From Home Video Editor role for Bhatia Mobile Bazaar. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing short-form video content featuring mobile phones, accessories, promotional offers, product launches, and other marketing campaigns for Instagram and other digital platforms.
The role will primarily involve editing raw footage provided by our team, creating engaging Reels, adding transitions, captions, motion graphics, music and sound effects, and ensuring that the final videos are optimized for social media.
The ideal candidate should be able to understand a creative brief, follow brand guidelines, deliver high-quality edits within deadlines, and create content that is engaging, modern, and sales-oriented.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Editing and short-form content creation.
- Experience creating Instagram Reels, promotional videos, and social media content.
- Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.
- Knowledge of After Effects and Motion Graphics is an advantage.
- Good understanding of transitions, typography, sound design, pacing, and visual storytelling.
- Basic knowledge of color correction and color grading.
- Ability to select appropriate music, sound effects, and audio elements.
- Strong understanding of current social media and Reel trends.
- Ability to work independently and consistently meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills and ability to understand and implement feedback.
- Experience in retail, mobile, electronics, marketing, or social media content is a plus.
- A strong portfolio/showreel is preferred.
- Formal education or degree is not mandatory; skills and portfolio matter more.
