Role Description The Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing door and window systems, components, and assemblies that meet performance, safety, and aesthetic requirements. Day-to-day tasks include creating detailed CAD models and drawings, performing mechanical and, where relevant, electrical design calculations, and collaborating with production, quality, and procurement teams to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness. The role involves reviewing customer specifications, proposing technical solutions, supporting prototype development and testing, and implementing design improvements based on feedback and performance data. The Design Engineer will also prepare technical documentation, maintain design standards, and contribute to continuous innovation in product lines. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Faridabad.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Design Engineering and Product Design, with the ability to develop practical, high-quality solutions for doors, windows and façade for building projects.
Hands-on experience of 3-4 years minimum with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 2D drafting and 3D modeling, and familiarity with design documentation standards.
Basic understanding of Electrical Engineering principles as they relate to automated or smart window and door systems is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site.
Effective communication skills and the ability to manage multiple design projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
