Aurvon Tech is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Data Engineer Intern who is passionate about data engineering, databases, and building reliable data pipelines. This internship offers an opportunity to gain practical experience working with data infrastructure, transformation workflows, and modern data technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for collecting, processing, and transforming data.
- Work with structured and unstructured datasets from multiple sources.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
- Assist in building ETL/ELT workflows for efficient data processing.
- Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Perform data cleaning, validation, and quality checks.
- Collaborate with developers and analytics teams to support data-driven projects.
- Document data workflows, schemas, and technical processes.
- Explore automation and cloud-based data engineering tools.
Required Skills
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python and SQL.
- Understanding of relational databases and database management.
- Familiarity with data structures, data processing, and ETL concepts.
- Basic understanding of data pipelines and data warehousing.
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and willingness to learn independently.
Good to Have
- Knowledge of Pandas and NumPy.
- Exposure to Apache Airflow, Apache Spark, or Kafka.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Personal projects involving data pipelines, APIs, or automation.
