We are looking for a proactive, organized, and forward-thinking Academic Head to lead and strengthen our academic operations, improve teaching and learning standards, and ensure the smooth execution of all academic activities.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day academic activities and ensure the smooth functioning of all academic programs.
Curriculum & Syllabus Monitoring: Ensure that all courses follow the prescribed syllabus and are completed within the scheduled timeframe.
Academic Planning: Develop and implement academic calendars, teaching plans, examination schedules, and academic policies.
Faculty Coordination: Coordinate with faculty members, monitor teaching progress, and ensure effective classroom delivery.
Examination Management: Ensure examinations, assessments, project evaluations, and result processing are conducted accurately and on time.
Academic Innovation: Introduce new academic practices, updated learning methodologies, industry-relevant tools, and innovative learning initiatives for students and faculty.
Student Academic Progress: Monitor student performance, attendance, learning outcomes, and overall academic development.
Quality Assurance: Regularly review academic performance, identify gaps, and implement improvements to maintain high educational standards.
Academic Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and coordinate faculty members to achieve institutional academic goals.
Academic Development: Take the initiative to develop new programs, improve existing courses, and strengthen the overall academic framework of the institution.
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain academic records, prepare progress reports, and report academic performance and challenges to management.
Eligibility & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
Strong organizational, leadership, and management skills.
Excellent coordination and communication abilities.
Ability to manage multiple academic activities, deadlines, and teams effectively.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
A proactive approach to academic planning, implementation, and continuous improvement.
Basic proficiency in digital tools, documentation, spreadsheets, and academic management systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in academic coordination, academic administration, faculty management, or educational leadership.
Experience working in a training institute, skill development centre, college, or educational institution.
Familiarity with curriculum planning, academic calendars, examinations, and student performance tracking.
