About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer to join our dynamic team working on an exciting project centered around deploying agentic Generative AI solutions within AWS. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work at the forefront of AI technology, contributing to the development, deployment, and operational management of advanced AI models. The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying and operationalizing GenAI solutions, building scalable and reliable infrastructure, and implementing best practices in MLOps and DevOps. This position is remote, UK-based candidates only, and offers a contract duration of six months with a competitive daily rate.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Generative AI and Agentic AI, with proven experience in deploying AI solutions within cloud environments. Essential qualifications include extensive AWS experience, preferably with Bedrock, and a solid understanding of MLOps and production ML deployment strategies. Proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is required, alongside experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Candidates should also have a good understanding of monitoring, alerting, and operational support for AI systems. Eligibility to pass SC or BPSS security clearance is mandatory.
Responsibilities
Deploy and operationalize Generative AI solutions within AWS, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. Build and maintain highly available SageMaker endpoints, incorporating monitoring and alerting mechanisms to ensure optimal performance. Develop and maintain Terraform modules to facilitate repeatable and consistent infrastructure deployments, streamlining deployment processes across environments. Implement CI/CD pipelines and adopt MLOps best practices to automate workflows, improve deployment speed, and ensure reliable model updates. Produce comprehensive architecture documentation, configuration guides, and operational runbooks to support ongoing maintenance and knowledge transfer. Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure smooth handover and ongoing support of deployed solutions.
