Role Description The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations to ensure rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are clean, safe, and well-maintained. This full-time, on-site role based in Gwalior includes assigning tasks to housekeeping staff, inspecting guest rooms and common areas, and ensuring adherence to hotel standards and hygiene protocols. The supervisor monitors inventory of cleaning supplies and linens, coordinates with laundry services, and addresses any maintenance or cleanliness issues promptly. The role also involves training team members, supporting guest requests related to housekeeping, collaborating with front office and other departments, and maintaining accurate records of work schedules and room status.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team coordination, task delegation, and performance monitoring.
Candidates should possess solid Housekeeping skills, with knowledge of cleaning procedures, hygiene standards, and room inspection practices.
Candidates should possess experience in Laundry operations, including handling linens, ensuring quality, and coordinating with laundry staff.
Candidates should possess effective Customer Service and Communication skills to address guest needs professionally and coordinate with colleagues.
Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in hotel housekeeping supervision, familiarity with safety and sanitation regulations, basic computer literacy, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
