HERMEiAS is a boutique security and privacy software consultancy. We design, build, audit, and harden private by default software, infrastructure, and communications for clients worldwide. Beyond client consulting, we build and maintain open source privacy tooling (such as TorVault, Darium, Koinos, and LLMRed).Role Overview
We are looking for a sharp, proactive Marketing Intern to join us full time remotely and help us scale the visibility of our open source tools, technical case studies, and consultancy services. No corporate fluff here you'll work directly with our technical team to translate privacy and security concepts into engaging content, community updates, and social media campaigns.
This is a learning focused, full time remote internship designed for someone eager to break into tech marketing and developer relations. You don't need years of experience; we care much more about your curiosity, writing ability, and intuition for social media.Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management: Own and actively manage our official channels across LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and Instagram. Share product updates, research notes, and tech culture content.
Content Creation: Help draft engaging posts, release notes, and introductory articles about our open source projects and security research.
Community Growth: Engage with the developer, privacy, and infosec communities across GitHub and social platforms.
Growth Experiments: Help brainstorm creative ways to distribute our security whitepapers and open source tools.
Requirements & Qualifications
Digital Native & Social Savvy: Comfortable and active on platforms like LinkedIn, X, and Instagram, with an understanding of what makes tech content engaging.
Good Writing Skills: Clear, concise English communication and a willingness to learn how to write for a technical audience.
Curiosity & Drive: A genuine interest in technology, cybersecurity, privacy, or open source software. You love learning new things quickly.
Low Experience, High Potential: No prior professional marketing experience required just a portfolio, a few social accounts you've managed, or writing samples that show your style and enthusiasm.
Availability: Able to commit to a full time remote schedule.
