Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Site Engineer role based in Mumbai. The Senior Site Engineer will oversee day-to-day site activities, ensuring that construction work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, safety norms, and quality standards. The role involves coordinating with civil and structural engineers, contractors, and site teams, monitoring progress, resolving technical issues, and preparing daily and weekly reports. The Senior Site Engineer will conduct regular inspections, implement quality control measures, verify materials and workmanship, and support adherence to project timelines and budgets. The position also includes guiding junior site staff, maintaining effective communication with project managers and clients, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong on-site execution and supervision skills, with experience managing construction activities and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
Candidates should possess excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams, and to document site activities clearly.
Candidates should possess robust quality control capabilities, including site inspections, material and workmanship checks, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
Candidates should possess solid structural engineering knowledge, with the ability to interpret structural drawings, support design implementation, and address technical queries.
Candidates should possess a background as civil engineers, with a degree or diploma in Civil Engineering and proven experience in building or infrastructure projects.
Relevant skills such as project planning, basic knowledge of construction contracts, and familiarity with industry codes and standards will be beneficial.
Proficiency in using site documentation tools, basic MS Office, and construction-related software is an advantage.
Prior experience in a senior or lead site engineering role, particularly in urban projects similar to those in Mumbai, is preferred.
