Associate – Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)

Position Summary
As an Associate in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) at Taxquity Advisors, you will support periodic financial analysis, month-end activities, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business-specific reporting. You will work closely with senior team members, finance business partners, and business controllers to ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality financial outputs.
Work You’ll Do
The key job responsibilities include the following:
Support month-end close and financial reporting activities, ensuring deliverables are accurate and completed within agreed timelines.
Prepare and distribute standard financial reports, dashboards, management reports, and business performance summaries.
Assist with actual-versus-budget and actual-versus-forecast analysis, identifying key variances, movements, and underlying drivers.
Support business controllers and management with business-specific financial overviews, reporting, and analysis.
Respond to ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests from senior team members and finance stakeholders.
Perform data validation, reconciliation, and financial accuracy checks to improve the completeness and reliability of reports.
Maintain effective working relationships with team members, management, and internal stakeholders.
Contribute to process improvements, documentation, knowledge sharing, and standardization of reporting procedures.
Maintain technical knowledge by participating in finance, reporting, and system-related training.
Identify and escalate data discrepancies, reporting exceptions, delays, and delivery risks to the appropriate senior team members.

Shift Timings: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
The Team
The Finance and FP&A team at Taxquity Advisors supports budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and analytical processes that contribute to the organization's financial performance and business strategy.
The team focuses on management reporting, financial analysis, and performance monitoring to support informed business decisions. Key activities include variance analysis to compare actual financial results against budgets and rolling forecasts, along with developing key performance indicator (KPI) dashboards to provide management with actionable business insights.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet reporting deadlines.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in the finance domain, particularly FP&A or management reporting.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Analysis for Office.
Knowledge of financial budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Experience in financial reconciliations, dashboards, and management reporting.
Prior experience in a professional services or Big Four environment is an advantage.
