Showroom Accountant

Job Profile & Description (JD)
Role Title: Accounts Executive / Showroom Accountant
Industry: Retail / Furniture / Home Decor / Manufacturing
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-Day Accounting: Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, invoicing and daily financial transactions using Tally or ERP software.
Vendor & Supplier Coordination: Handle supplier quotations, compare material rates, and coordinate procurement logistics for furniture raw materials or stock.
Costing & Inventory Support: Maintain basic understanding of furniture materials, hardware, and product-wise costing.
Reconciliation & Reporting: Prepare bank reconciliations, ledger reconciliations, MIS reports, outstanding payment reports, and monthly closing statements.
Tax & Statutory Compliance: Ensure timely GST computations, filings, TDS entries, and compliance with statutory regulations.
Stocks reconcilitaion and Control
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, or Accounting.
Experience: 3 to 4 years of practical accounting experience (preferably within retail, wholesale, or furniture showrooms).
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Tally Prime/ERP, advanced MS Excel (formulas, data comparison, pivot tables), and digital documentation.
Soft Skills: Good communication, vendor negotiation abilities, and high attention to detail.
Typical Salary & Terms - Delhi NCR
Salary Range: ₹28,000–₹32,000+ per month
Working Hours: Full-time, experience centre : 10:30 am to 8:00 pm
