Operations Analyst

Role Description The Operations Analyst at Owais Capital | أويس المالية will support day-to-day investment operations, focusing on data accuracy, process efficiency, and client service. This part-time, hybrid role is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with a combination of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. Key responsibilities include reconciling transactions and positions, monitoring cash flows, preparing operational and performance reports, and assisting with trade settlement and documentation. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams and external partners, responding to client inquiries, maintaining operational procedures, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across systems and workflows.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills for data validation, reporting, and process improvement.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Foundational finance knowledge, preferably within investment or asset management environments.
Basic accounting skills for reconciliations, ledger review, and transaction tracking.
Customer service mindset with the ability to handle client requests professionally and efficiently.
Proficiency with spreadsheets and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, BI tools), and comfort working with large datasets.
Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a part-time setting.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; relevant certifications are an advantage.
Experience in financial services or investment operations in the GCC region is preferred.
Ability to work in a hybrid model, maintaining reliability and confidentiality in both office and remote settings.
