Role Description The Safety Officer role at Tarini Engineering Works is a full-time, on-site position based in Patna. The Safety Officer is responsible for monitoring workplace practices, conducting regular safety inspections, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Daily tasks include identifying hazards, implementing preventive measures, supporting accident investigations, and maintaining safety documentation and reports. The role involves delivering safety training sessions, promoting a safety-first culture, and coordinating with management and staff to continuously improve safety standards. The Safety Officer also collaborates with security personnel and relevant departments to reduce risks and safeguard people, property, and operations.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and Occupational Health principles, regulations, and best practices.
Experience in Accident Investigation, including root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
Understanding of Security measures relevant to industrial and trading environments.
Ability to design and deliver effective Safety Training programs and toolbox talks.
Relevant diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
Professional certifications in safety or industrial hygiene are an advantage.
Proven experience in a safety-focused role within industrial, engineering, or trading operations.
Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills, with attention to detail.
Ability to work on-site in Patna and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
