Transport Planning Manager

Role Description The Transport Planning Manager at Fly Gabon Holding is a part-time, remote role responsible for designing and optimizing transport plans across the company’s network. This role involves analyzing demand and capacity data, developing routing and scheduling strategies, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient and reliable transport operations. The Transport Planning Manager prepares forecasts, monitors performance metrics, and recommends improvements to service levels, costs, and sustainability. Day-to-day tasks include creating and updating transport models, supporting planning tools and documentation, and collaborating with operations, finance, and commercial teams to align transport plans with business objectives.
Qualifications
Demonstrated transport planning experience, including route optimization, scheduling, and capacity management.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and transport modeling or planning software.
Experience in logistics, supply chain, aviation, or related transport sectors.
Ability to work effectively in a remote, part-time setting, managing priorities and meeting deadlines independently.
Clear written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in transport planning, logistics, engineering, economics, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
Knowledge of regulatory and safety standards relevant to transport operations is an advantage.
Experience with sustainability-focused transport initiatives or cost-optimization projects is beneficial.
