Role Description This full-time, on-site Electrician role is based in the Greater Chennai Area. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment across residential and commercial project sites. Daily responsibilities include reading and interpreting electrical drawings, wiring and cable routing, performing routine inspections, and identifying potential hazards. The role involves diagnosing electrical issues, completing corrective actions, and ensuring work complies with safety codes and company standards. The Electrician will collaborate with project engineers, site supervisors, and other trades to support timely project completion and respond to urgent maintenance needs.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of electricity fundamentals and safe work practices around electrical systems.
Hands-on experience in electrical work, including installation, wiring, and panel setup.
Proficiency in maintenance & repair activities for electrical fixtures, equipment, and circuits.
Effective troubleshooting skills for identifying faults, testing components, and resolving electrical issues.
Basic knowledge of electrical engineering concepts as they apply to building and infrastructure projects.
Familiarity with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and use of standard tools and testing instruments.
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics, follow instructions, and document completed work accurately.
Relevant technical qualification or certification in electrical trade from a recognized institution.
Proven ability to work on-site in varying conditions, manage time effectively, and collaborate with diverse teams.
