Job Description
Ashoka is the world largest community of leading social entrepreneurs and changemakers. Leveraging the experience of Ashoka in Europe with the Carry for Good program, we aim at launching Carry for Good in the Americas starting with Mexico and the US. Carry for Good is an innovative fundraising strategy at Ashoka that engages General Partners at PE and VC funds, inviting them to pledge 1-2% of their future "carries" to support and fund leading social entrepreneurs.
We are in the exploratory phase in the Americas and need the support of a volunteer to help coordinate and organize the various activities: desk research, informational interviews, outreach and follow up. In Europe, Ashoka has been able to get 63 pledges of individual GP in PE and VC funds. We see much potential in the Americas! Come and join us for this exciting and impactful project. Volunteer Logistics
Estimated hours required per week: A minimum of 5 hours a week
The estimated duration of the project is: 3-6 months

Language Requirements
English; Spanish
Desired Skills And Experience
Experience in private equity or Venture capital a strong plus.
Project management experience
Fluency in English and Spanish
Keen interest in social change and social entrepreneurship
Ability to work remotely, team player, structure
