UI/UX Designer — Early-Stage Startup | Long-Term Collaboration
Amerigam | Surat, Gujarat, India | On-site / Flexible by mutual agreement
About Amerigam
Amerigam is an early-stage digital platform built around people, creativity, communities, and opportunities.
Our vision is to create a space where people from different backgrounds can discover like-minded individuals, showcase their skills, share achievements, participate in competitions, collaborate on ideas, and explore new opportunities.
We are building Amerigam with a strong focus on thoughtful product design, meaningful user experiences, and a premium, modern interface. We are looking for passionate individuals who want to contribute to building a product from an early stage and grow alongside it over the long term.
Role Overview
We are looking for a creative and motivated UI/UX Designer who wants to help shape the design and user experience of Amerigam.
You will work closely with the founder and development team to design intuitive, visually consistent, and engaging mobile-first experiences. This is an opportunity to contribute to real product decisions, take ownership of design challenges, and help establish the visual identity of a growing digital platform.
We value practical skills, creative thinking, consistency, and a genuine interest in building products over formal qualifications alone.
Key Responsibilities
- Design clean, modern, and user-friendly interfaces for mobile and web.
- Create wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Design screens and components for profiles, feeds, communities, competitions, messaging, rankings, and other platform features.
- Develop and maintain reusable UI components and design systems in Figma.
- Collaborate with the founder and developers to translate product ideas into practical designs.
- Review implemented interfaces and suggest improvements to usability and visual consistency.
- Contribute ideas to improve the overall product experience, accessibility, and design quality.
Skills We Are Looking For
- Good understanding of UI design fundamentals, including layout, typography, spacing, color, and visual hierarchy.
- Practical experience with Figma and interactive prototyping.
- Understanding of UX principles, navigation, user flows, and mobile-first design.
- Attention to detail and the ability to turn ideas into clear, usable interfaces.
- Willingness to communicate, accept feedback, and collaborate with a small team.
- A portfolio, personal projects, or relevant design work demonstrating your abilities.
Students, self-taught designers, and early-career designers with strong skills and a growth mindset are welcome to apply.
What Makes This Opportunity Different?
- Work directly with the founder on a real product.
- Contribute to meaningful design and product decisions.
- Build portfolio-worthy work through practical product development.
- Help shape Amerigam's design language and long-term user experience.
- Grow your skills, responsibilities, and professional network as the platform develops.
- Explore a long-term collaboration based on mutual commitment, contribution, and the future direction of the company.
Compensation & Collaboration
Important: Amerigam is currently at an early development stage and cannot offer a fixed salary at this time.
This opportunity is intended for someone who is genuinely interested in an early-stage startup collaboration and willing to discuss a mutually agreed arrangement for the initial phase.
Any future compensation, equity, or other benefits would be subject to a separate, explicit agreement. Future salary or equity is not guaranteed.
How to Apply
If you enjoy designing digital products, care about user experience, and want to contribute to building something from the ground up, we would love to connect.
Please share your portfolio or Figma projects, a brief introduction about yourself, and why you are interested in collaborating with Amerigam.
Let's build something meaningful together.
