Role Description
What We’re Looking For
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in logistics/shipping (preferred).
Education: BSc / Graduate in any discipline.
Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication and coordination skills.
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Familiarity with logistics documentation and shipment tracking processes is a major plus.
Work Style: Ability to multi-task, prioritize effectively, and work well under pressure.
The Logistics Operations Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Navi Mumbai. This role is responsible for coordinating daily shipment activities, including booking transport, preparing documentation, and tracking cargo status. The executive will liaise with clients, transporters, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries, resolve operational issues, and maintain accurate records in logistics systems and spreadsheets. The position includes monitoring inventory movements, updating status reports, supporting billing processes, and complying with regulatory and company procedures. The role requires active participation in process improvements, adherence to safety and quality standards, and clear communication with stakeholders.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of logistics operations, including transportation coordination, documentation handling, and basic supply chain processes.
Proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel), data entry, and using logistics or ERP software for tracking and reporting.
Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, vendors, and internal teams, with the ability to handle queries and resolve issues professionally.
Good organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork and record-keeping.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site environment in Navi Mumbai, managing multiple tasks and priorities independently and as part of a team.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain, commerce, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience in logistics or freight operations is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of domestic and/or international shipping practices, regulations, and Incoterms is beneficial.
Willingness to learn, adapt to new systems and processes, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
