Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Site Engineer ELV located in Delhi, India. The Site Engineer ELV will oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems such as CCTV, access control, fire alarm, public address, and data networks at project sites. The role involves coordinating with civil and structural engineering teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely and quality execution of ELV works in line with project specifications and safety standards. The Site Engineer ELV will monitor on-site progress, perform quality checks, resolve technical issues, and prepare daily reports and documentation. The position also requires effective communication with project managers and stakeholders to support smooth project delivery and adherence to budgets and timelines.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong on-site execution skills and experience working at construction or infrastructure project locations, preferably in ELV or MEP domains.
Candidates should possess effective communication and coordination skills to interact with project teams, contractors, vendors, and clients.
Candidates should possess quality control and inspection skills to ensure compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Candidates should possess a solid foundation in structural engineering and civil engineering principles to integrate ELV systems with overall building and infrastructure designs.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Knowledge of ELV systems design, installation standards, and relevant codes; experience with drawings, BOQs, and site documentation.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, use basic site measurement tools, and work with project management software or MS Office.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced project environment.
