Role Description The Production Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Lucknow, responsible for overseeing day-to-day manufacturing operations. This role includes planning and scheduling production, managing shop-floor activities, and ensuring orders are completed on time and within quality standards. The Production Manager will monitor resource utilization, coordinate with procurement, quality, and logistics teams, and resolve operational issues promptly. The role involves leading and mentoring production staff, enforcing safety and compliance procedures, and implementing process improvements to reduce waste and optimize efficiency. The Production Manager will also track production metrics, prepare reports for leadership, and support strategic decisions related to capacity planning and cost control.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in production management, manufacturing operations, or plant supervision.
Strong skills in planning, scheduling, and coordinating production activities to meet targets.
Ability to lead teams, manage performance, and foster a collaborative and safe work environment.
Proficiency in using production tracking tools, basic ERP or inventory systems, and MS Office.
Solid understanding of quality control processes, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills for addressing bottlenecks and operational issues.
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams and senior management.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Production Management, Operations Management, or a related field; relevant diploma with substantial experience may also be considered.
Prior experience in an export-oriented or manufacturing company is an advantage.
Willingness to work on-site in Lucknow and adapt to changing production demands.
