We are seeking professionals with established careers in government, industry, public policy, security, economics, or related sectors who can apply their practical experience to understanding complex domestic and international issues. This opportunity is particularly suited to mid-career professionals with approximately 5–12 years of relevant experience who are interested in contributing to independent analytical projects alongside their existing professional commitments.
Key Responsibilities
Examine political, economic, geopolitical, and industry developments affecting the United States and international markets.
Research specific events, policies, institutional decisions, and emerging trends.
Assess the underlying causes, potential consequences, and wider implications of developments.
Produce structured analytical articles, assessments, and briefing reports.
Combine credible research with professional experience to deliver original perspectives.
Complete independent assignments within agreed timelines.
We encourage applications from individuals with experience in one or more of the following:
Government departments, public administration, or regulatory institutions
Political affairs, international relations, or public policy
Economics, financial markets, trade, or international business

Management consulting, institutional research, or corporate strategy
Regional affairs, international development, or cross-border economic activity
Candidates with experience in government-linked organisations, private-sector companies, and specialised industry environments are equally encouraged to apply.
What Makes a Strong Candidate?
We are looking for professionals who:
Have developed meaningful expertise through several years of practical work.
Understand the broader political, economic, or strategic environment affecting their sector.
Can evaluate information critically and draw well-supported conclusions.
Are capable of producing thoughtful analysis rather than simply summarising news or publicly available reports.
Communicate clearly and professionally in writing.
Are comfortable working independently on research-based assignments.
A background in journalism or academic publishing is not required. We place particular value on professional experience, subject-matter understanding, and independent analytical judgement.
