Role Description The Data Scientist Intern will work full time in a remote capacity, supporting data-driven projects that help inform business decisions and product strategies. Day-to-day tasks include collecting, cleaning, and organizing datasets, performing exploratory data analysis, and contributing to the development of predictive models and analytical reports. The intern will help build visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights, collaborate with senior data professionals on experiments and prototypes, and document methods and findings for internal stakeholders. This role offers exposure to real-world data challenges, mentorship from experienced team members, and opportunities to contribute to innovation across the organization.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess foundational skills in Data Science and Data Analytics.
Candidates should possess strong abilities in Statistics and Data Analysis.
Candidates should possess skills in Data Visualization and presenting insights clearly.
Basic proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data work (such as Python or R) is highly beneficial.
Familiarity with data manipulation tools, libraries, or SQL is an advantage.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related disciplines).
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new tools and methods.
