Data Analyst

Role Description The Data Analyst will work full time on-site in Vellore, supporting data-driven decision-making across cyber security and cloud computing projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting, cleaning, and validating data from multiple sources, performing quantitative and qualitative analyses, and building reports and dashboards to communicate trends and insights. The role involves collaborating with technical and business teams to translate requirements into analytical models, monitoring key performance metrics, and identifying opportunities to improve security posture and system efficiency. The Data Analyst will also document analytical processes, support ad hoc data requests, and contribute to the refinement of analytics best practices within the organization.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills and Data Analytics capabilities for interpreting complex datasets and generating actionable insights.
Knowledge of Statistics and experience applying statistical methods to support data-driven decisions.
Proficiency in Data Modeling, including designing data structures and models that support reporting and analysis.
Effective Communication skills to present findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar) and SQL or other query languages.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and basic understanding of cyber security concepts is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Vellore, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail.
