Presales Engineer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Presales Engineer role based in New Delhi. The Presales Engineer will work closely with the sales team to understand client requirements, design suitable security system solutions, and prepare technical proposals, configurations, and bills of materials. The role involves conducting product demonstrations and presentations, supporting proof-of-concept deployments, and responding to technical queries from prospective customers and partners. The Presales Engineer will collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure seamless integration of Magtech solutions into customer environments and provide technical support during the presales cycle. The role also includes preparing documentation, attending client meetings, participating in tenders and RFP responses, and keeping up to date with industry standards and Magtech’s product portfolio.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Presales and Sales skills, including solution consulting, proposal creation, and stakeholder communication.
Candidates should possess solid Technical Support skills, with the ability to troubleshoot, explain technical concepts clearly, and assist customers during evaluation phases.
Candidates should possess Integration skills, with experience designing end-to-end security solutions that work with existing infrastructure and third-party systems.
Candidates should possess Security domain knowledge, including familiarity with physical security systems such as barriers, scanners, and detection technologies.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in engineering, electronics, IT, or a related technical discipline.
Strong presentation, documentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with sales, product, and engineering teams.
Experience with enterprise or critical infrastructure security projects, tenders, and RFP processes is an advantage.
Ability to travel to customer sites as needed, and fluency in English; knowledge of additional regional languages is beneficial.
