Projec Engineer / Senior Engineer

Role Description The Project Engineer / Senior Engineer will support the technical planning, development, and optimization of Fintech News BD’s digital platforms and workflows. This part-time, remote role involves coordinating with editorial and product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, such as improving website performance, integrating tools and APIs, and maintaining content delivery systems. Day-to-day tasks include assessing system needs, proposing enhancements, managing small-scale implementation projects, documenting processes, and troubleshooting technical issues. The engineer will also help ensure platform reliability, data integrity, and security, while contributing to ongoing improvements in user experience and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and experience with content management systems or news publishing platforms.
Experience in software or systems engineering, including basic architecture design, integration of third-party tools/APIs, and performance optimization.
Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure or hosting environments, version control tools, and standard development workflows.
Ability to analyze technical requirements, document solutions clearly, and collaborate effectively with non-technical team members.
Good understanding of or interest in fintech and digital media, with the ability to align technical work to business and audience needs.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capacity to manage multiple tasks in a part-time remote setting.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Previous experience in news/media, fintech platforms, or startup environments is an advantage.
