Electrical Engineer Intern

Position Overview:
This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in nuclear reactor engineering. The internship takes place in Summer 2027.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist with the design, modeling, and analysis of electrical systems and components.
Support testing, validation, and troubleshooting of hardware and instrumentation.
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary engineering teams (mechanical, software, nuclear) to ensure system reliability and safety.
Contribute to documentation, schematics, and technical reports.
Participate in lab and prototyping work as needed.
Qualifications:
Pursuing BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Foundational knowledge of circuit design, power systems, or control systems.
Familiarity with tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, SPICE, or CAD software is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
This internship is based 100% onsite at the company’s HQ in El Segundo, CA.
Compensation:
The compensation for this role is $34–40 per hour.
