Quality Engineering Intern

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist with the development of new testing protocols and procedures to ensure proper data collection
Assist with recommendations on improvements, cost optimization, along with providing and capturing supporting data
Help with identifying root cause of quality issues and assists in the implementation of corrective and preventative actions
Provide feedback to Designers and Engineers during initial concept stages to determine feasibility of planned toy related to safety, regulatory, and reliability
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in an accredited university as a rising senior, graduating in 2028
Majoring in Industrial, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Creative problem solving, strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail and the ability to work in a team environment
Detail-oriented, organized, methodical, process-oriented thinker
Effective time manager - able to juggle multiple tasks and competing priorities
Self-starter capable of working effectively independently or as part of a team
Possess good mechanical aptitude in the area of generating creative, simple mechanical solutions and troubleshooting existing mechanism
Intent listening skills with ability to apply learnings
Ability to be flexible to changing business priorities
*Hourly pay for this role is $26.00/hour at the company's El Segundo, CA office
Compensation:
The compensation for this role is $26.00 per hour.
