Role Description The Quality Assurance Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role involves monitoring and inspecting production processes and finished products to ensure they meet internal standards and customer specifications. The specialist will develop and implement quality procedures, perform regular quality checks, document findings, and support root-cause analysis and corrective actions. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with production teams, maintaining quality records, assisting with audits, and supporting compliance with applicable standards and regulations. The role also requires preparing reports, suggesting improvements to processes, and promoting a culture of quality throughout the organization.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Control and Quality Assurance to monitor processes and ensure product conformity.
Candidates should possess skills in Quality Management and Quality Auditing to support systems oversight and internal/external audit activities.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) to uphold regulatory and industry standards.
Relevant experience in manufacturing or engineering environments, preferably in a quality-focused role.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams on-site.
Diploma or degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field is preferred.
