Role Description The Senior Merchandiser is a full-time, on-site role based in Tiruppur, responsible for managing the end-to-end merchandising process across ZAKSBERG® WORKWEAR’s product lines. Daily activities include coordinating with clients to understand requirements, developing product concepts, preparing costings, and managing sampling and production timelines. The role involves close collaboration with design, production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure orders are executed accurately, on time, and in line with brand standards. The Senior Merchandiser will monitor market trends in workwear and promotional merchandise, support pricing and product positioning, and maintain strong customer relationships. This role also contributes to process improvements, sustainability initiatives, and the development of new product categories.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to liaise with clients, internal teams, and suppliers effectively.
Candidates should possess Sales and Retail skills to manage orders, support business growth, and understand end-user requirements in workwear and promotional segments.
Candidates should possess Marketing skills to help position products, support promotional activities, and align merchandise with brand and client expectations.
Relevant experience in apparel merchandising, preferably in workwear, uniforms, or promotional clothing, including sampling, costing, and production follow-up.
Strong analytical and negotiation abilities, with proficiency in MS Office and basic ERP or order management systems.
Ability to work on-site in Tiruppur, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Diploma or degree in Fashion Technology, Textile Technology, Apparel Merchandising, Business, or a related field is preferred.
