iOS Developer Intern (Unpaid)

Company Description Orbitly LLC is a tech startup founded in 2026, focused on building an innovative platform for content creators and brands. The company is preparing to launch a beta app by January 2027 designed to help users discover opportunities, connect with collaborators, and create impactful content. Orbitly aims to bridge the gap between individual creators and businesses through intuitive digital tools. Team members have the opportunity to contribute directly to a product in its early stages and influence its future direction.
Role Description The iOS Developer Intern will work part time remotely, collaborating with the product and engineering teams to build and refine Orbitly’s iOS application. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features, fixing bugs, and optimizing performance for mobile devices. The intern will participate in code reviews, write clean and maintainable code, and help integrate APIs and back-end services into the app. The role also involves testing the app on different iOS devices, documenting technical work, and contributing ideas to improve user experience for content creators and brands.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Mobile Application Development and Mobile Applications.
Candidates should possess skills in iOS Development and iOS.
Candidates should possess skills in Software Development.
Familiarity with Swift and Xcode, and understanding of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines.
Basic knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON, and experience with version control tools such as Git.
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced startup environment.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional team members.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience (Junior or Senior preferred).
