Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled DC-ACI / Cisco Nexus L1 Engineer with 2+ years of experience in network operations, troubleshooting, and Day 2 support. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of Cisco ACI and hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus 9000 Series switches, routing and switching technologies, and data center network operations.
The candidate will be responsible for monitoring network infrastructure, performing routine operational activities, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and supporting configuration changes, firmware upgrades, and hardware replacements.
Key Responsibilities
Provide Day 2 operational support for Cisco ACI and Cisco Nexus data center environments.
Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN network infrastructure.
Install, configure, commission, and support Cisco routers and switches, particularly the Cisco Nexus 9000 Series (mandatory).
Demonstrate a basic understanding of Cisco ACI architecture and its components.
Perform routine network health checks, configuration verification, and incident troubleshooting.
Support firmware upgrades and software updates for network devices as per approved change procedures.
Identify and replace faulty network hardware components in coordination with relevant teams.
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues involving routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and proxy servers.
Support routing and switching protocols and resolve issues related to network reachability and traffic flow.
Assist with network changes, incident resolution, and escalation of complex technical issues.
Prepare network status reports and communicate incidents, changes, and operational updates to stakeholders.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure network availability and smooth operations.
Work effectively in a high-pressure environment while adhering to operational procedures and SLAs.
Required Technical Skills
Cisco ACI and Data Center Networking
Basic understanding of Cisco ACI architecture and components.
Hands-on exposure to Cisco Nexus 9000 Series switches.
Experience with installation, commissioning, and configuration of Nexus switches is mandatory.
Understanding of data center networking and LAN/WAN operations.

Educational Qualifications

Relevant networking certifications such as CCNA are an added advantage.
Mandatory Requirement: 2+ years of networking experience with practical exposure to Cisco Nexus 9000 Series installation, commissioning, and configuration, along with a basic understanding of Cisco ACI.
