MARKFORWARD is a social media management studio helping businesses and creators build a clear, consistent and purposeful online presence through social media strategy, content planning, short-form video editing, copywriting and creative direction.
About the Internship
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented aspiring video editor who can produce high-quality short-form videos for social media.
This four-month, remote internship is intended for individuals who want to develop their editing skills through practical assignments, creative direction and constructive feedback while gaining exposure to social media content production.
The internship is unpaid, with no salary or stipend. The working schedule will be flexible, with expectations and deadlines discussed during the interview and mutually agreed upon before the internship begins.
Key Responsibilities
Edit short-form videos and social media Reels to a high standard.
Turn raw footage into polished, engaging and well-structured videos.
Use effective hooks, pacing, captions, text overlays, transitions and audio.
Maintain visual consistency and follow creative briefs.
Incorporate feedback and deliver revisions that meet the required quality standards.
Work with suitable editing software of your choice, provided it can produce the required output.
Organise project files and meet mutually agreed deadlines.
Assignments may include practical projects and contributions to live client content, with briefs, feedback and expectations communicated in advance.

Strong editing fundamentals and attention to detail.
Good visual judgement and an understanding of what makes a video engaging.
Clean execution, appropriate audio levels, readable captions and smooth pacing.
Willingness to learn, adapt to feedback and improve the quality of each edit.
Reliability and professional communication.
Selection will be based primarily on editing quality, creativity and attention to detail, rather than the specific software used.
