Operations Manager

Acube Logistics & Infra provides boom lifts, scissor lifts and cranes to project sites across India, with transport and sales divisions and a yard in Pune.
The role
Lead the operations team and own every machine on hire: deployment, uptime, field staff, yards and client delivery. You are the link between the office and the field, reporting to the proprietor.
Responsibilities
- Client coordination: commitments met on the date given; escalations handled personally
- Deployment: readiness, transport, mobilisation and demobilisation, documents and gate passes
- Breakdowns and procurement: same-day response; spares, technicians, service vendors, TPI and insurance
- Field staff: operators and technicians placed, replaced and paid on time
- Yards and sites: yard team supervision, regular visits, stock audits
- Compliance: insurance, TPI, RC, permits and road tax renewed on time
- Team: one owner per task; every completion verified against records
- Weekly reporting: utilisation, breakdown days and billing days per machine
Requirements
- 5+ years in equipment rental; aerial work platforms (boom and scissor lifts) preferred, cranes next
- Proven client handling under pressure and on-time execution
- Parts and service procurement experience in this industry
- Field and office experience; daily use of Google Sheets or Excel, mail and WhatsApp; comfortable with AI tools
- Strong communication in Hindi, Marathi and English
- Frequent travel; a call-intensive role from early morning to late evening
Terms
Six days a week, 10 am to 7 pm. One paid leave a month. Diwali bonus pro rata. Annual salary review. Phone and SIM provided; travel at actuals. Selection: written test and interview with the proprietor.
