Online Maths and/or Physics Tutor — Part-time
Kognida provides personalised GCSE Maths and Physics tuition, focused on understanding, exam technique and measurable progress.
We’re looking for reliable tutors to deliver one-to-one online lessons through Google Meet.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver lessons tailored to each student’s needs and exam board
Assign appropriate homework and track progress (marking of homework is not required)
Provide concise weekly feedback to students and parents
Requirements
A/A* at A-level and 8/9 at GCSE in your teaching subject, or equivalent
Studying for or holding a relevant degree.
Strong subject knowledge and clear, adaptable explanations
Confident using online teaching tools
Reliable, organised and professional
Appointment subject to satisfactory references and an appropriate Enhanced DBS check
Previous tutoring experience strongly preferred
Pay: £20-25 per teaching hour, inclusive of lesson preparation and concise weekly feedback. Homework marking is not required.
Location: Remote (Online).
Engagement: Self-employed freelance tutor, with flexible availability and freedom to accept or decline student assignments.
Interview: A 20–25 minute interview covering your qualifications, relevant experience and a short teaching demonstration using an example problem
