Vice President of Product Operations

Role Description The Vice President of Product Operations at Holcim Maroc is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing end-to-end product operations across the organization. This role leads cross-functional teams to ensure efficient product lifecycle management, from strategic planning through execution, launch, and continuous improvement. The VP of Product Operations defines and optimizes processes, establishes performance metrics, and drives alignment between product, engineering, operations, and commercial teams. Daily responsibilities include prioritizing product initiatives, managing operational risks, coordinating complex programs and projects, and ensuring that product roadmaps are delivered on time and within budget. The role also involves mentoring senior leaders, driving data-informed decision-making, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Qualifications
Strong Product Operations expertise with demonstrated ability to build, refine, and scale processes that support product strategy and delivery.
Experience in Product Management, with the ability to translate market and customer insights into actionable product roadmaps and operational plans.
Proven Program Management and Project Management skills to coordinate complex, cross-functional initiatives and ensure timely, high-quality execution.
Advanced Analytical Skills, including proficiency in using data and metrics to assess performance, identify issues, and drive strategic decisions.
Leadership experience in senior or executive roles, with a track record of leading distributed teams, influencing stakeholders, and driving change.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively across functions and in a remote environment.
Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or construction materials sectors is highly beneficial; familiarity with international or multi-market operations is a plus.
Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, engineering, operations, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
