Executive / Senior Executive - Brand Partnership and Procurement

We are looking for an experienced professional to build and manage our brand partnerships and lead procurement for our display technology range: Interactive Flat Panels, LED displays, Active LED, digital signage, podiums and related products. You will secure the right products at the right cost and quality, develop strong relationships with brands and manufacturers, and make sure supply reliably supports sales and project delivery.
The Executive and Senior Executive levels share the same core duties. At the Senior Executive level, you will own larger vendor relationships and negotiations with more independence, and may guide junior team members.
Brand and Partner Management
Identify, evaluate and onboard brands, OEMs, manufacturers and distributors across categories, in India and overseas.
Negotiate partnership terms, including authorised reseller or distributor agreements, pricing tiers, margins, exclusivity, warranty and support commitments.
Keep in regular contact with brand teams to track launches, roadmaps, promotions, incentive schemes and channel programmes.
Coordinate co-marketing, demos, product training and partner certifications.
Procurement and Sourcing
Source products and components at competitive prices without compromising quality, compliance or availability.
Request and compare quotations, run commercial negotiations, and finalise purchase orders.
Plan purchases against sales forecasts, tenders and project schedules, especially for bundled lab and makerspace setups with many line items.
Manage imports where required: lead times, landed cost, customs documentation and logistics coordination.
Identify alternatives and second sources to reduce dependence on a single supplier.
Vendor and Supply Chain Operations
Track order status, delivery schedules, shipments and payment milestones, and resolve delays proactively.
Monitor product quality, defects, returns and warranty claims, and manage them with vendors.
Maintain vendor records, rate cards, price lists and performance scorecards.
Work with the warehouse and logistics teams on inward inspection, serial-number tracking and inventory accuracy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with Sales and Project teams to understand demand, tender requirements and technical specifications.
Provide accurate pricing, availability and lead-time inputs for quotations, bids and BOMs (bills of materials).
Work with Finance on purchase approvals, vendor payments, credit terms and cost control.
Work with technical and training teams on product selection for labs, STEM and makerspace projects.
Reporting and Compliance
Prepare regular reports on purchase spend, savings achieved, vendor performance and open orders.
Ensure procurement follows company policy and statutory requirements, including GST, import and customs rules, and applicable product standards such as BIS, WPC and e-waste rules where relevant.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, IT, Business, Supply Chain or a related field. An MBA or PG in Materials Management or Supply Chain is a plus.
5+ years of experience in procurement, vendor management or brand and channel partnerships, preferably in IT hardware, electronics, education technology, robotics, IoT or AV.
Proven experience negotiating with OEMs, distributors or manufacturers.
Experience with institutional, tender or project-based procurement is an advantage.
